It was a blessed time last Friday, when we all came together and studied and discussed the word of God. With enough patience and time, God will form a good understanding of His Son in us and the great work he is doing among us and all over the world. Why did a sinless Christ submit himself to John's Baptism? Remember that John's message was a message of repentance and all that baptised repented of their sin. But we know Jesus was blameless lamb of God - but he got baptised - Why?

Three things to why Jesus Was baptized
Submission and Humility. Also, he become like all of us but without sin to demonstrate humanity.
Submission: Jesus Did this to show submission to this father and by doing His fathers will.
He baptized to show humility. HE humbled himself proving that his righteousness.
He became human and not someone who wanted to show off His powers.
He also had a family but He left them. He left his mom/dad and went to make disciples and tell everyone the eternal way.
