India: The flames of persecution spread to other states!!

Just received an email from Sajith. I have copied it below -

Hi Bobby
I received news from home that the violence against christians have spread to coastal karnataka and udupi . Its getting more serious and it definetly needs a divine intervention to stop, and we are burdened to pray for it. Please make sure that everyone gets to their knees and pray without ceasing . May the Almighty God protect our brothers ans sisters in Christ.
Regards
sajth

Since getting the email I did my own google search - here is what came up.
  1. The anti-Christian violence that began in Orissa three weeks ago has still not died down; instead, it is spreading into Kerala. The situation also remains tense in Karnataka.
  2. Last Sunday, September 14, 20 churches were ransacked by radical Hindus of the group Sangh Parivar in Mangalore
  3. The GCIC (Global Council of Indian Christians), based in Bangalore (in Karnataka), has accused the police of beating the Christians (see photo) and desecrating some of the churches in Mangalore.

Let us rededicate ourselves to prayer for the persecuted and that God will quench this flames. Please take time to intercede.
